GBSLEP Skills Service supports businesses across the region understand their skills needs and partner them with the right provider for their business. The team have supported Blossoms Day Nursery to train new staff by helping them to secure funding via the Levy Transfer.

"Blossoms is a nursery created for parents by parents, so it was important to us that our staff are trained by a provider that understands this. Through speaking to the GBSLEP Growth Hub Skills Service we were able to find that provider and with their support, access Levy Transfer funding. So far we’ve employed four apprentices through this funding and hope to take on more’".
