It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to announce that due to a change in personal circumstances, The DIY Angel will no longer be trading for the foreseeable future.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my customers for their continued support and custom. The last 5 years have been brilliant and I have met some fabulous people who have become more than just customers.

Big garden job from last year. Total make over. Was a massive job and very hard work but the result was brilliant and the customer is still chuffed with it a year later. Removed all council slabs, 41 in total, levelled out the garden, w**d proof membrane laid. New pathway and feature circle laid. New outdoor light and fascia boards fitted. Gravel laid.

Another hall, stairs & landing and porch area from last year in a customers 3 storey house. Had fitted the landing bannisters and newel posts for them on a previous job.
All walls were prepped and lined before painting, feature wall papered, radiator pipes boxed in skirts fitted and all woodwork painted.

Hello everyone, it's been some time since I have posted an update.

The DIY Angel is trading as usual and working full time. Apologies to any potential customers who were unaware as to whether the business was still operating.

I also apologise in advance for the amount of pictures I will be posting over the next few days of some of the jobs completed in the last year. There will be plenty lol and will include a front garden overhaul, a compete bathroom refit and more than a few decorating jobs!

I wish to apologise to all my customers for not updating you on where things are with The DIY Angel.

I was aiming to return to work this week and be in contact with all those customers who have already booked in and those who have enquired about quotes.

Unfortunately, my mother was admitted to hospital a few weeks ago and sadly passed away last week. As you can imagine this has had a profound affect on me and I have been unable to deal with work.

I will hopefully be returning to work at the beginning of July and will then have to complete work in the order in which it was booked.

Many of you have already had to wait for a long time. This has been due to the length of my waiting list plus the lock-down measures that have been in place so I thoroughly understand that you may need to book in another trades-person to complete the work I quoted for. I cannot guarantee that I can give a firm date for the work we discussed. Please let me know if this is the case and I can cancel the booking and hope that I may be able to quote for you on future projects.

Again, I sincerely apologise for not updating you all.

To all my wonderful customers - past, present and future.

Due to the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 and the government guidance issued on Monday, I have decided to postpone all work and jobs for the foreseeable future, to protect the health and welfare of myself, my family and my customers.

Despite being symptom free and in self isolation since my return from Turkey (where we were also on lockdown) I cannot guarantee that this will remain the case after Friday when my partner returns to work as an essential key worker in an environment where social distancing is difficult.

I do hope you all understand that this has been a very difficult decision to make. Please be assured that any work you have booked in will still go ahead in the order in which it was originally scheduled and will not be cancelled by myself. Just the time frame will have changed.
