Autumn is a time of the year when we pay attention to our immune system and our nutritional health. As the days get shorter and colder, we need all the herbal support we can get. Look 👀 no further. Fiesha Amlak will be serving up bottles of red goodness in the form of fresh Sorrel drinks.

This flower 🌺 is not only known for its unique beauty but, for its medicinal properties that include:
- high antioxidants
- lowering of blood pressure
- support for heart health
- aid to digestion
- antibacterial properties
- anti-aging effects

What’s more - it tastes really good. Come and try for yourself by picking up a bottle next week🍷

It’s the little things 🐝. This summer, we’ve collaborated with Uplands Allotments to invite members of the local community to learn much more about the life, role and significance of the honey bee.
Thanks to John Woodlock of the National Bee Association, questions were answered and from there, inspiration to see these amazing community at work was experienced up close and really personal.
Not just for their honey production are the necessary but, their role in our existence is heavily overlooked. We hope to continue working alongside allotment to bring awareness of the vast aspects of nature that are key to our survival 🌱

Our children are the present and the future which is why we are investing in the practical and mental health education. A huge thanks to for providing the infrastructure to enable young people to go forward and experience STEM in nature and at our Witton site.
We have a session coming up this Tuesday for children from ages 8-14 years to enable them to use their imaginations, create their own spaces and leave their mark in history. We have great plans in store from providing greater security, observing nature and brings the outdoor inside.
Peace✌🏾

We’re excited to host our community engagement event where members of the local community can gain access to an allotment, share their own experiences of growing or learn traditional ways of learning to work with nature and not against her.
The aim of these events, is the demystify the skill of growing your own food, get out the house, meet new people and learn at your own pace. Using organic principles in fact, can work out to be more cost effective so, whether giving it a go with friends, family or on your own, we’re here to support.

Join our Young Roots Easter sessions from our Horticultural Earth Gardens in Witton.
Over 2 4 hour sessions, 8-14 year olds get the opportunity to bring their national curriculum learning to life by hands on activities that involve designing their own dedicated space, carrying out tasks to make it happen and come back to care for and maintain their creativity.
Led by Omar, these sessions will inspire, educate and support young curious minds to become visionaries and design their futures.
Nature is a great teacher.
