This little …… lovely fluff ball was stuck in a tree for (so I’m told) 11 nights.
After a trip up the ladder and a ….. lovely fluff ball in my arms on the way back down now gets to enjoy a firework free night with a nice can of tuna.

This is the start of the project where we are removing the old slates and sorting the good ones from the bad ones. We have added 1F bitumen felt so it is bat friendly. New slate will be added in a few weeks when it has all been prepared. It’s a very messy job so clearing the work areas takes longer than normal.

It also has bastard hips, this means there’s two separate pitches to each side of the roof.
All in all it’s a very smart roof.
