Today we completed this compact 18m² patio installation, completely transforming a tired gravel area into a clean, low-maintenance outdoor space.

🔨 Works included:
• Preparation and levelling of the existing stone sub-base
• Fresh sharp sand screed bed installed
• Laid quality grey concrete cast paving slabs
• Reset and adjusted the existing manhole cover to suit the new finished levels
• Finished with neat, consistent joints throughout

Another fencing job completed in Darlington for a lovely young couple 🙌

We removed the old fence and installed a brand new 6ft fence, spanning 6.5 metres and neatly tied into the existing boundaries for a seamless finish. All posts were treated with bitumen paint at the base for added durability and long-term protection 💪

Another quality transformation completed by Anderson’s Landscapes 👌🌿

This customer had originally started preparing the area using the traditional method (150mm Type 1 with a sharp sand bed). After discussing the long-term issues with drainage and potential for standing water, we recommended upgrading to a fully permeable system using Vuba Grassmac with Type 3 clean stone.

We removed the existing base and installed a modern, free-draining foundation designed to:
✅ Eliminate standing water
✅ Improve longevity and stability
✅ Provide a cleaner, more durable finish

Yes, this method comes at a higher upfront cost—but the results speak for themselves. A stronger base, better drainage, and a lawn that will perform properly all year round 🌧️☀️

Finished off with a fresh artificial grass install, leaving the customer with a low-maintenance, high-quality outdoor space they can enjoy straight away.

🚧 Another Quality Driveway Completed in Barnard Castle 🚧

A full transformation completed this week while contracting for another company — and what a finish 👇

From the ground up, everything done properly:
✔️ Full dig out
✔️ Membrane installed
✔️ Stone laid & fully compacted
✔️ Sand laid, compacted & screeded
✔️ Manhole cover installed neatly
✔️ Main area laid in brindle block paving

To really set it off, we installed a brindle & charcoal grey stretcher border, separating the colours and creating a strong contrast that draws the eye and gives the driveway a clean, high-end finish 👌

The job ran smoothly from start to finish and the customer is over the moon with the result 🙌

We’ve already been asked back to extend the driveway along the front next week — and even picked up another job next door while we were there 👊

New fencing installed for a family member in Bishop Auckland 🔨

We fitted 6ft fencing with capping to give it that clean, finished look 👌

The garden had a slope running down from the patio, so we:
✅ Stepped the fence to follow the ground level
✅ Kept the height consistent and practical
✅ Made sure everything was solid, straight, and built to last

Just to keep everyone updated — I’ve unfortunately been having issues accessing my tools due to a fault with my garage fob recently. This job was completed thanks to having a labourer on hand to help me get access that day.
