Originally made from plywood this piece was reinvented by Kartell exploiting new Industrial technologies using PMMA plastic enabling the chair to retain its curved lines. This is a stunning piece in super condition.

Colour: White semi gloss finish.
Size: 64cm deep, 62cm wide, 59cm high.

Summer dining or just al fresco serving - that certainly deserves a special plate!

This porcelain piece by Danese was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti and represents an early era in the company's history. In its early days, Danese focused heavily on craftsmanship and artisan-based forms. Over time, the company shifted towards a more industrial-based design and production process, moving away from these handcrafted origins. So to be able to get hold of the originals is quite rare.

They sat in a square in Milan and drank coffee, and watched people walking past, they talked about the importance of design, how something can taste better if it is presented in considered way. The sun was warm, but not too hot, it was a fine April day which was their favourite month when in Milan. The two of them shared the finest moment that morning and drank from the best Alessi coffee cups. A friendship which was driven by conversation and a relationship that has created the best design objects in the last century. *
