At Staz Handywoman, Painting and Decorating, we provide professional high quality work and expect to be treated with respect while completing this work. Any abuse to myself (Staz), any team members or traders we recommend or involve, will not be tolerated and could result in the job being left incomplete, and potential police involvement, payment for the work would still be expected regardless. Myself and the team have the greatest respect for our clients and their homes, and expect to be able to do their job effectively without these issues or abuse. We love the work we do and work hard to complete it.
Wall conditions and the structural issues of the house is not our responsibility or craft and may effect our work. While we do our best to fill/sand and repair, we disclaim responsibility for failures in existing paint layers, improper drywall work, or surfaces not prepared to industry standards. Slight variations in materials, paint color or finish, especially over porous surfaces, may not constitute a failure in workmanship.
While we promise to cover, protect and take care of your home, accidental damages may occur and we do not provide compensation or replacement. We like to keep things tidy and clean up after jobs, but we are not responsible for rubbish removals or general cleaning of your home.
Time scales and material costs may vary, depending on the scope of the job and what's needed for it's completion. Please have patience with myself and the team while we work hard to complete the job to a high standard. Any concerns or touch ups I am happy to discuss and amend, however if this starts to affect the completion of the work, I will issue the client with an appropriate complaints forum.
By accepting my quote / fee you agree to pay for the work provided by myself or the team. I accept cash payments. Depending on a days work quote, I would expect this at the end of each days work. Or if quoted for larger jobs I expect the agreed deposit, estimated material costs before work starts and the rest of the fees upon completion. Failure to pay will result in legal action.
Photos and videos of the works progress and completion will be taken and potentially used to promote my business on my social media platforms. These will not include any personal information, private items or family members.
