On a recent visit to Ruffford Old Hall it was great to see an effective combination in the borders under the shady conditions of the mature tree canopy. The gardeners had combined the larger Rhododendrons and Azaleas with a shade loving Hostas planted underneath to fill the gap between the lower branches and the floor. Ramblers on walls
Climbers/ramblers growing through open fences
Climbers/ramblers growing through large shrubs and trees
