This weeks tree of the week is the Liquidamber 🍁

The Liquidamber is a large growing tree that has a maple like shaped leaf and turns a dramatic autumn colour (red,orange and yellow) around late summer to early autumn.

We stock a variety Liquidambers including the Worplesdon, Styraciflua and the Slender Silhouette (perfect for filling a small gap due to it’s fastigiate nature)

Our tree of the week is the Tulip Tree 🌳🌷

This week we have been admiring the Weeping Silver Leaved Pear.

The Weeping Silver Leaved Pear is a small growing, elegant tree, perfect for even the smallest of gardens. The tree has long weeping branches, with silvery leaves, which create it’s unique look.

The Weeping Silver Leaved Pear exhibits small, white flowers around the month of April and grows ornamental pears in the late summer months.

Cherry blossom at Maple Farm

The daffodils are coming out, buds are showing all over the nursery and the first cherry blossoms of spring have appeared on the red leafed Canadian plum trees (Prunus cerasifera Nigra).
