Below are pictures of a property that has had a supposed cavity extraction, but the customer still had damp. I would strongly recommend looking into the businesses you are asking to do the work, as this is the 5 th one alone this year I have been to, to carry out a full extraction.

One customer even had the original business back as they charged them an extortionate rate, then paid me to check it and it still had some in 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So it’s been a while since our last post never the less we have been busier than ever working, carrying out a minimum of 4 cavity extractions a week

With the weather we have received over the last few months, we have seen a significant rise in damp in people’s houses, so much so that we are currently fully booked all the way until mid April.

A composition of this weeks cavity extracts. 3 houses and 2 flats completed, from Workington to Preston to 2 in Blackpool.
A mixture of materials also extracted being formaldehyde foam, supafil and also a cavity which was full of supafil and had the new bead injected into it also, causing a lot of damp.
We are now busier than ever seeing calls daily for us to go and look at customers damp and give them free quotes, so much so that we only have a couple of spare days in Feb and are now taking bookings for march now

A mixture of pics from this weeks jobs.

A failed cavity wall bead insulation extract in Lytham
A small loft extract/refill with 300mm knauff insulation and a raised platform floor
An extract of a cavity in Preston which had a mixture of dry bead and supafil insulation, this was the worst as not only had the original extract been carried out properly with the amount of wool left in, but the bead which was installed was dry, bringing problems within itself.
A supafil (wool ) cavity extract in Layton also.

We are now fully booked until the second week in march barring a couple of dates here and there, if you have DAMP and need some advice, get intouch today to avoid any delay.
