I did say that I would be unveiling our next commercial job on the road and here it is at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

This new modular build will provide 2 operating theatres and twin operating theatres.

The initial work was carried out at Darwin Groups factory where we applied a more coat and first coat Dulux Sterishield Diamond Matt emulsion. It’s now nearly ready for us to start final coating the walls and woodwork.

We now bade farewell to Bracknell, but watch this space for our next project over In Doncaster.

It may seem that all we do is commercial work, but that isn’t the case. We also do residential work, and here are 2 examples of jobs we have done this year.

We do internal and external residential work, including as you can see, wallpapering, alongside or commercial work which takes us nationally.

We are pleased to announce that we have been instructed on the internal decoration of floors 1-4 of this rather large extension at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

This will provide an additional 110 🛌 which are very much needed.

You’re probably wondering, why on earth are we going to have a conversation about external painting in January.

Believe it or not, you wouldn’t believe how many people contact me in September/October asking for a quote to paint their outsides the same year.

Now is the time to be asking decorators to come and look at your external painting in readiness for our traditional Spring and summer. 🌞🥶 ☔️

I’m lucky to have some pro-active customers who are already contacting me in readiness for the 1 week of the year when we get 🌞

Last year was full of the usual ups and downs, but 2 positives that will stay with me for a long time, were provided by Blackpool Football Club.

In the first instance, I was privileged to be asked to provide the back drop for the artist formerly known as Rob Purdon to produce his magic murals, and to cap it all off, a plaque was mounted commemorating my support in this project, kindly provided by Shaun and Carl at Link Signs & Graphics.

However, the icing on the cake, was when we were match ball sponsors for the Carlisle games and I can safely say we were well catered for with exceptional service whilst hosted in one of the clubs boxes.

It was a great experience going on the pitch and handing the ball to the referee, which I was then presented with at the end of the game.

It certainly didn’t hurt that we won that game comfortably, or that it seemed to be the springboard the team needed to push on to have the most successful Christmas period that I can remember,

Here’s hoping this continues into the Nee Year. UTMP🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊

Any tradesman will have seen the back of a van looking like this. It’s that end of a job or in this case, year van where everything just gets chucked in to be dealt with the next time you open the doors. I’d like to say my New Year’s resolution is to stop this but I know I’d be lying. We’ll be back in Bracknell the second week in January.

We’re on nights this week. Last night started in Overton near York on a Murphy site painting a door frame in their welfare unit, followed by a trip over to another of their sites at Monk Fryston sub station to paint, yes you’ve guessed it, another frame in a welfare unit

The run up to Christmas is always manic and this one has been no different with the tail end of November culminating in 1200 miles and a 90 hour week, with visits to Asda, Whitehaven, Darwin Group, Shrewsbury and finally Magna Medical Centre near Norwich
