Living Room conversion ( Load Bearing Wall )
David and his team have literally finished the job we posted. We would highly recommend the team, We are really happy with the work carried out and found David very helpful, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Great communication from the initial quotation, Right through the build and afterwards and even went above and beyond when we had a problem with the electrics. My partner has felt uncomfortable and belittled in the past with tradespeople but has said she felt comfortable with David and explained things thoroughly and helpfully. Insulate summer house and plaster
Great work from David and the team. Very professional and always keen to help! I have had a full insulation and plaster fit in a 300 square ft room. Full electrical work and now I have asked David to complete my garden works as well. I have added many jobs with in my original works and this has been no issue. Great work would recommend. Kate. Loft Conversion
From start to finish we have received an excellent service from David and his staff. After asking for a quote we were given a clear breakdown of the job and when payments were required, the payments were staggered throughout as the work was completed. We moved out for the duration of the building work, David kept us up to date on a weekly basis and sent us photographs, which was great for us to see the progress, you don’t normally get this off builders. David also made sure our home was secure throughout and took care of any mess created from the job. Whilst doing the job David also added extra features that weren’t planned at no extra cost. He also helped with plumbing issues at no extra cost. We can’t thank David and his team enough for a fabulous job at our house, we have an extra room that looks amazing! I have already recommended David to a friend, and we would most certainly ask David back for any future work. An excellent job with very friendly staff, we couldn’t have asked for more. New dormer loft conversion
Invited Dave to quote for a big job we were undertaking. Dormer loft conversion with replacement roof. There were 3 in the team (Dave, Kerry and Bruce) and they turned up every day at 8am - 5:30pm Mon-Fri without fail. The job in total took 9 weeks to complete and the guys did an amazing job as there were a few challenges along the way. The space they have created in a 3 bed terraced house is amazing. We now have an extra large room with an additional bathroom which is great for a family staying over. We were so pleased we've engaged the team to do additional work. Loft insulation, boarding, ladder
I would not be able to recommend David and his team more. The job they have done in my house was much bigger, and the improvement is far much better, than I had expected. I had probably the least desirable job to be done – to refit an unprofessionally, negligently done bathroom. I did not even advertise this job, just let David have a look at my new but falling apart bathroom while he was making an assessment of the advertised job – loft insulation and flooring. As a result, just in six days, I have a gorgeous bathroom that should stay for years, tidy and conveniently arranged storage space in the well-insulated attic and a new double door to a big, previously open cupboard. Friendly, professional, perfectly organised, dealing easily with any problem David and Kerry made my house a much better place to live and I could not be more thankful to these gentlemen. Mohsen. Small loft conversion in a 2-bedroom terraced house
Dave originally came to give me a price on a loft conversion, I had just moved into the house and needed a lot of renovation done. I asked Dave to quote for knocking out a utility room and converting it into a small room with patio doors, what I like to call my 'little conservatory.' area now. I then decided that I wanted to open up the kitchen area into the living room and move my kitchen into the large living room space, this meant knocking down walls and moving existing utilities. This was ongoing at the same time, I had asked Dave if he could lay a new patio for me and build a pergola. Dave and the team were really helpful in making my vision possible for my new home, nothing is to much trouble. On the big jobs, Dave and the team, worked consistently same time everyday, Monday to Friday. Dave really does have a good eye for creating spaces that I needed and creating solutions. My neighbours liked Dave's work so much they had him for their kitchen renovation too! when the work was complete, I had an off the street offer to buy my house, which I declined. Dave came back to complete my bathroom, Dave and the team are hardworking, reliable and reasonably priced, given that so many people are charging a fortune just to knock a wall down these days, his quotes are all laid out in advance with detail of plans and he stays on site until the job was completed. Extremely pleased with the work carried out by BGL. They have completed my loft conversion on time and to a very high standard and on price.
