Milk Safe I’m Isla and I’m studying carpentry and joinery at college. I bought the business ‘Milksafes’ in 2022 So we launched Milksafe.

Our first box for protecting milk bottles was made in 2000, to stop cats knocking over our bottles which would then spill, for them to lick up the cream! It was suggested other milk lovers might also want such a box.

This is a lovely extra large Milksafe off to Huddersfield today.
It has a thermal liner, freestanding, and lockable so also useful for any parcel deliveries.
We have used a new tin of seasoned oak and it seems to be more silky and glossy than previously which is nice. Maybe Cuprinol changed the recipe?
Did you know that the legs we use are made from recycled tyres? 🛞

It’s been a very busy 6 weeks with Milksafes being sent all over the UK. Plenty of the bigger Milksafes being ordered and the ‘carry’ Milksafes with its own milk basket inside.
Wall hung or freestanding, we’ve had a full mix and orders coming in for the wall hung 4@1 pint.

This Milksafe is being shipped out to Nottinghamshire today. It’s a great size… 8x1pint bottles so plenty of room for other bits and pieces in the delivery.
In country cream it also has a thermal liner included to help protect the milk on these very icy 🥶 mornings.
Wall mounted version which also has space for your empties 👍. The milkmen love these models.

A busy workshop this afternoon.
Three Milksafes models under construction…
1. 4 x 1 pint wall mounted. holds 4 1 pint bottles
2. 5 x 2 pint wall mounted. holds 5 2 pint plastic bottles
3. Extra large wall mounted. designed to hold milk, bread, yoghurts and eggs.

All requested in different colours…Country Cream, Seasoned Oak and Urban slate.
We will put finished product photos on later in the week.
