Another busy weekend with the cherry picker up north in Banchory where we crown lifted, removed some dangerous hanging branches and removed the dead wood from some Scot’s pine and a very hairy larch tree.

It’s been a cold and wet couple of days working with Lafferty Gardening climbing and dismantling 12 spruce trees, all the waste was chipped on site and spread to help keep the weeds down for the customer we also cut all the timber into firewood for their patio fire and left 10’ trunks along the fence line for creating a privacy screen.

Last week we had a demo of Angus Access Solutions Ltd tracked 19m cherry picker which we used to reduce the height on 3 multi stemmed leylandii trees, the cherry picker was great low impact to the grass with the tracks so no damage to the grass where it was driven across it can also be folded down to 870mm wide for narrow access through garden gates.

Kicking the year off with a large birch tree which all had to be carefully dismantled and lowered due to the powerline and fence either side, all branches and logs taken away to be properly disposed of.
