Kitchen & living room all skimmed out! 👌

This job literally required all aspects of plastering from start to finish.

Uneven walls needed floating, ceilings needed boarding, walls needed boarding and then everything brought together for the final skim.

Just one of those jobs where we could properly get stuck in and do what we do best! 💪

Big milestone for Ted this week as well. He got on the trowel and completed his work with no assistance needed. He’s absolutely flying at the minute and, at this rate, it won’t be long before he’s out tackling jobs on his own. 👏

Really proud of his progress.

Phase One Complete! 👏🏡

The first phase of our renovation project is finally finished!

✅ Full rewire
✅ New ceilings
✅ New internal doors
✅ New flooring throughout
✅ Fresh plastering & redecoration

It’s been a really enjoyable project to manage. Not just because it’s our own home, but because it’s shown what can be achieved in just 8 weeks with the right planning and hard work.

Next up is the bathroom and kitchen, but we’ll be tackling those once we’ve had a chance to settle in.

⚠️ This customer’s old render had deteriorated so badly that a large section failed and fell from the property, narrowly missing their car. That was the wake-up call they needed.
