A little job but a big difference, the replacement of a shower and basin waste. Now the shower tray doesn't fill up with water when you run the basin tap😁. Push fit fittings under floorboards are never a good idea. Solvent pipe is always the better choice.

These shower boards were installed incorrectly by another bathroom fitter, the gap was too large and the silicone was inadequate. We removed the old silicone and used an absorbant granule system to draw out all the moisture.
It took 7 courses over 7 days to dry out. We resealed everything correctly and allowed 48 hours for silicone to cure.
Things aren't alway beyond salvaging, our customer was very grateful that we could make good instead of having to replace the boards.

Fortunately we are better at fixing broken shower trays than we are at documenting the process. The customer feared this...

Fortunately we are better at fixing broken shower trays than we are at documenting the process. The customer feared this was beyond repair, we were able to carry out a solid repair, saving the customer a lot of upheaval and money.
