People often question which material we use for residential home fence and gate projects.
Their are two main options in the residential market, I categories these in to two buckets;Traditional and Contemporary.
Traditional Materials
This would include all wooden materials. We use pressure treated wood, rated for outdoor use.
Contemporary Materials
These are composite materials which consist of various mixtures of different materials.
Traditional materials are more cost affective upfront, in my opinion they look better and they are still long lasting. The timber we use is rated for 15 year’s minimum, that’s without adding extra preservatives.
Contemporary materials have much higher upfront costs associated with them in comparison to traditional materials. They will outlast us in terms of decomposition, this is why most customers opt for them. They are durable, modern and require very little maintenance.
