A new heating system had been installed in this 3 story town house in Craigleith Terrace and where old rads had been in every room and hallway from top to bottom the paper had all blistered so cut it all out back to a tight edge, Gardz applied - filled - sanded with the Mirka Gardz applied again and then painted. This really was some transformation. While we are both self employed sometimes being a team we can do things quicker, so if you have a large job that you think might be too big for one guy alone why not give us a shout so that we CAN team up and make a big job that you need doing less daunting. After - Afternoon folks, been very quiet on here since doing my back in 3 weeks ago whilst taking time out with the family. But that’s the joys of being self employed that nobody’s sees and having to take severe strong tablets, Acupuncture and physio just to earn a crust.
Anyhoo —-
Paul Cryne Midlothian Decoration and myself took on this massive job at Craigleith Terrace in Edinburgh, and just today we brought it to a close. Wasn’t a full dec from top to bottom but it was near enough. We both took a lot of satisfaction in getting this completed - Minus Bathrooms, Kitchens and Utility this was like stepping back in time. Now ??? Well I won’t say anymore just have a wee nosey at this 👀😉

Took a lot of satisfaction from this one today. Ceiling and Walls were so bad because of yip you guessed it - BLOODY CANDLES. These things should be banned. I hate them!!! There is defuserers now for making your house smell nice. Anyhooooooo the paint on these walls was breaking down really badly. I had never see this bad before. Rest of the walls in the house were perfect so this was very strange. The paint was leaving the surface completely. Could not take it back to a dry edge and flush it off. Fast forward 3.5 days and boom. Scraped - tapes cut out and re taped. Sanded - Gardz - lined 1400 grade. Johnstones Stainaway BW x2 to ceiling. Walls 1st coated. Walls flushed filler x2 touched up with gardz. Feature wall Johnstones Pebble and other walls Johnstones Fairytale. Woodwork Johnstones Aqua Satin B/W.

Working on the outskirts of Gorebridge last week at this stunning cottage. Livingroom was in need of some tlc. So glad I got the opportunity to work on this. I should have taken more before shots but hey ho. What a size this room was. The pictures actually don’t do it justice.
