There’s only one problem you may encounter when using Wildmore Compost…

Too many crops!

We planted some tomatoes in Wildmore Compost, now we can’t keep up with harvests! Our favourite way to use our excess tomatoes is to make delicious tomato soup.

The high standard of our compost means that plants produce more yield than you’re used to!

Sometimes, plants just need a fresh start.

Just one week after being repotted into Wildmore Compost, this struggling hydrangea has produced a brand-new green shoot.

We’re not claiming miracles, but we are very happy to see new growth so soon after being put into our compost!

It always makes our day when we get sent updates like this, so if you’ve tried our compost and you’ve got some results to share, we’d love to see them!💚

Today would have been our Granny’s birthday.

She was there long before Wildmore had a name, and her love of gardening helped shape the idea that became Wildmore.

What originally started out as helping Granny switch to peat free, has now turned into creating a compost that is loved by thousands.

Now, each bag carries a little piece of Granny with it. A four leaf clover, her go-to symbol for love, luck, faith and hope.

Every time you see the Wildmore Garden online, you are seeing her years of hard work, dedication, and her legacy.

We miss her enormously, but when we spot that tiny clover, we smile.

Happy birthday, Granny.

We hope you’d be proud.

How has it already been a week since Rutland Flower Show?!

We are still reminiscing about the incredible weekend here at Wildmore Compost, so we thought we’d share some of our favourite moments from the show.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and spoke to us. Really, you made our weekend!

WOW! What a weekend at Rutland Flower Show.

We booked this show before we had even sold a single bag of compost after seeing how incredible the first one looked. And it was completely worth it.

After planning this show for months, working hard to make sure everything was ready, it felt so special to stand together as a family underneath the famous Rutland Flower Show horseshoe.

Wildmore Compost is and always will be, a family business. There is a little bit of all of us in everything we do. From the farm and the compost itself, to packaging the bags, building stands and talking to people like you.

We are feeling incredibly grateful after this weekend. Thank you to everyone who said hi, asked questions, felt the difference of our compost, took a bag home or simply showed an interest in what we are building.

We are only just getting started! Thank you, Rutland Flower Show . 💚

They have some incredibly talented people making arrangements that really stopped us in our tracks.

WOW you have outdone yourselves! What a day!

Despite the searing heat, everyone showed up in great spirits. It was so lovely to meet everyone today, and if you managed to grab a free sample, we would love to see what you grow in it!!

There were so many amazing stands, show gardens, workshops, entertainment and food vendors to keep you busy all day. It really was an amazing first day.

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking a lot more pleasant. If you don’t have any plans this weekend, pop down to the Rutland Flower Show and come say hi! 🌱
