Position: Tree Surgeon/Arborist with COSS Responsibilities

About Us:
Botley Tree Care is a small, family-run business with a fantastic team culture. We love what we do and have a great time doing it! We mostly work with one of Network Rail's principal contractors, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of arboriculture projects across Wessex.

What You’ll Do:
- Work on Network Rail infrastructure
- Share COSS duties when required
- Get hands-on and collaborate with the team to complete vegetation management projects promptly

What We’re Looking For:
**Essential**
- PTS and COSS competencies
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Full UK driving license without major endorsements
- Excellent communication and people skills

**Preferred**
- Experience in arboriculture or vegetation management
- First Aid (EFAW+F) certification
- Site Warden competency
- Tickets: chainsaw, aerial rescue, chipper, small tools

Bit of simple rigging today to control the falling limbs of these Silver Birch trees.

Multiple risk trees removed for Network Rail from the banks of the Southampton to Portsmouth line. Many of these were growing out over the running line so needed controlling to ensure the safe running of trains.
