🪟Glass sealed units 🪟

Over time sealed units can start to fail and this can lead to misted or blown double glazing. This is not only unsightly but can also harm the thermal qualities of the unit and lead to issues with mould and damp.🦠💧

All of our sealed units are low-emissivity glass or low-e glass as it is commonly referred to. This is a type of energy-efficient glass designed to prevent heat escaping through your windows to the cold outdoors. It has an invisible coating which dramatically reduces heat transfer and reflects interior heat back into your room. 🔥

At Lincolnshire Bow we can replace any failed sealed units with new ones, preventing you from having to replace the whole window (only the glass is replaced – the frame can remain the same). We can also replace older sealed units with new ones to upgrade these to ‘A’ rated units, therefore improving the thermal insulation qualities. This provides a much cheaper alternative to replacing the whole window.💰
