In this project, our client asked us to open up their garden with a better view with more socialising space . We extended the patio matching the existing concrete slabs.  redirected the drainage downpipe under the patio to flow into the garden .Installed sleeper steps and a ramp for mobility access . With two sage handrails for safety and convenience .

This is a porcelain patio  we completed last year. We were given the task to continue the Jupiter grey porcelain patio throughout whole garden . A small portion was laid some years ago by a previous landscaper. We edged the patio with black core edging, and backfilled with decorative stone to tidy the perimeter.  Also we pruned the overgrown birch trees to bring more light in to the garden .

Happy new year from Down To Earth Landscaping and Gardening .
As we move into the New Year, we look back on some of our favourite projects that we completed in 2025 .
This was a complete back garden transformation  including -
New lawn, perimeter fencing Venetian style on either side and feather board  fence on the back.
Concrete base for summer house .
Too tired sleeper construction with inset seating.
Fossil sandstone patio and pathway.

This project we completed late last year a meandering path eye like design. Citroen  sandstone slabs with fossil sandstone couples  edging the path. The whole path was surrounded with core edging so the sandstone cobbles were completely surrounded with grout and gave extra stability when stepping into the garden . This has given the path a standout frame like finish .
