Discovered this pair of poorly maintained boilers for a local client today, client had been paying his previous engineer for annual servicing and safety inspections. Think it’s safe to say he hadn’t been fulfilling his side of the agreement.

Full strip down service, replacement electrodes, seals and heat blocks.

Here’s a low profile underfloor heating system that I’ve just completed 👀

An overlay option on top of a solid floor for a local client who was very keen on installing underfloor heating rather than radiators.
This system is great for retrofits like this as it raises the original floor height by just 40mm once screeded. The guys at Williams walls and floors are pouring tomorrow 😎

Been a busy week with this project. Jumped on with Heat Efficent Limited to help out.
Something a little different from the day to day norm and really enjoyed it.

Job consisted of draining down and replacing two direct gas fired water heaters, along with new flue system in a block of residential flats with communal heating and hot water.

Bonus was working alongside some top local engineers. Team work makes the dream work 😎

Today’s efforts. Unfortunately couldn’t quite get it wrapped up as short on pipe. Couple of bits to do and she’s ready to go. Bloody tight fit this one.

Pretty much there with this one, all filled and hot water on. Pressure relief pipework to wrap up Monday along with lagging, wiring and commissioning.

Some underfloor heating installed and filled yesterday, all ready for screeders at Williams today. Indoors is obviously out of bounds whilst they are busy with that, so I’ll be working on installing the soil and wastes outside. Great weather if you’re a duck 🦆

New boiler commissioned up today that I installed yesterday. Customer had been without a working boiler all last winter so understandably over the moon with this Glowworm.
Happy customer = Happy days 😎
