Planning approval secured for another exciting local residential transformation.

After three previous planning attempts with different designers, we’re proud to have helped secure approval for this project through a thoughtful design approach and a clear understanding of the planning system.

The proposal completely reimagines the existing property through a full wraparound and multi-level extension, transforming it into a contemporary three-storey family home with a proposed floor area of 237m².

Projects like this show how much potential can be unlocked by extending and reworking an existing property rather than starting from scratch.

We recently attended a CPD session delivered by the team at PietraCasa.

The session explored the versatility of porcelain across both interior and exterior applications, along with practical examples of how these materials can be used in design.

Something we always consider with our clients is how a space will feel throughout the year, not just how it looks on a summer’s day.

Features like canopies and overhangs can help manage sunlight, keeping spaces cooler in the warmer months while still letting in plenty of natural light. They also create a more usable connection between inside and out, whatever the weather.

It’s these quieter, considered details that help create spaces that truly work for our clients for everyday living.

We stay involved throughout the build, supporting contractors, answering questions, and ensuring the project on site aligns with the original vision. Through our project management support, we help guide projects from concept through to completion.

Being present during construction allows us to problem-solve in real time and help keep things moving smoothly.

From planning to site at Boscombe Beach.

A few behind-the-scenes moments from our recent site visit to the new The Saltwater Sauna project. It’s great to see the design now taking shape on the seafront after working on the project from the early planning stages.

Site visits like this allow us to check progress, speak with contractors, and ensure everything is aligning with the design as the project develops. We’re looking forward to seeing it progress over the coming weeks.
