Spring is nearly here! 20th March marks the first day of spring this year.

Despite the team working hard in all kinds of weather, but we are so excited to get out in the fresh and warm air after what seems like a very long winter for everyone.

Preparing your lawn for spring is incredibly important in the winter months.

The majority of our customers have had moss treatment on their lawns these past couple of weeks, this will then be scarified and fed to enable some excellent stripes this summer!

Approximately 224 million roses are grown for Valentine’s Day. Red roses were the favorite flower of Venus, the Roman goddess of love, as the bud stands for strong romantic feelings.

In the Barks household we (Soph) prefers tulips which symbolise a perfect love.

February/March is the perfect time to start planning your rose pruning in your own gardens, but be sure to look at the individual profile of each rose.

A great reference is RHS - Royal Horticultural Society who offer great advice on how to increase longevity of your roses.
