Seeing people come to buy fish and handing the owner, money, this cat went out and got a leaf to pay for her fish. On the first day, the owner of the shop thought this was very cute, so he gave her a small fish. Now everyday this cat comes in to buy a fish with a leaf.

** You are my sunshine **

Its the return of one of our youngest customers, but this time to create a nursery space for his little sister.

This area was originally a dressing area with dressing table, now though its taken on a completely new function thanks to the creative mind of his mum and dad.

We put together the crib, painted the wall behind, put up the shelving and pictures and their mum put some lovely finishing touches on the shelving and wall.

What a sweet little space for a lucky little girl.

FINISHED JOB - So we have been back this week to the house where we were doing the exterior masonry work and the gable end, do tidy up and de w**d the driveway.

To bring it up we used a good quality patio cleaner, followed by a jet wash and then a re-sand to fill all the gaps with a w**d proof sand. This should mean that the owner of this property wont need to carry out any more maintenance on the driveway until next year.

All that is needed now is some hanging baskets on the hooks and the final tidy up will be complete!

This job was a bit more of a personal one for me as we have been 'baby proofing' my sons garden, ready for the summer and my Grandson to enjoy the outside.

The yellow and red slabs had been there for a very long time and were looking weathered and worn, and that sort of hard surface does not make a soft landing for a toddler!

So we have whipped up the slabs and laid turf instead to make a softer landing space. This fresh turf will take about 6 to 8 weeks to fully establish just in time for him to enjoy the summer and some new garden toys.

Its starting to feel more like summer again this week! We were at this property in Wick last week jet washing the driveway and we've returned to tidy up the front garden and mow the lawn. How amazing does a tidy garden look in the sun :-)

BEFORE AND AFTER …. Now thats much better!

Gable end completed, in three days we have sanded, primed, undercoated and applied three coats of paint on the woodwork and surrounding masonry. Such a huge improvement and now the original woodwork on this Victorian property has been preserved, as it would be such a shame to loose that spire at the top.

** BEFORE AND AFTER **

We were tasked with making a communal area shared with two flats a bit more private for each of them, and put some fencing up between the areas dedicated to each flat. Heres a before and after... all it needs now is a lick of green fence paint to match it to the existing fencing and we are all complete.

STORM DAMAGE - Fencing before and after....

The weather has certainly been changing over the past couple of days but what damage has the winter done to your fencing?

In this case I think the winter was the final straw for this fencing. Already rotten, and the posts were breaking at the base, this fence didn't really stand much of a chance with high winds and wet weather. But now.... all replaced and painted in a dark grey to finish. New uprights all cemented in place to make sure this fence stands upright this year!

The slippery decking panels were also removed and some Cotswold stone laid to replace them, a much cheaper alternative for the owner to make sure there aren't any trips and falls from the decking panels.
