Another job completed by D.J Tree and Garden Services 🔨🌿

We replaced an old, worn-out log store with a brand new build featuring a solid concrete base, pressure-treated timber frame, and a durable felt roof to keep everything dry and protected. We also installed a matching fence to the side of the oil tank to tidy up the area and give it a clean, finished look.

Another transformation completed 🙌

We’ve just wrapped up this recent garden renovation project, and what a difference it’s made!

✅ Removed the old, rotting decking
✅ Installed a Type 1 compacted sub-base for a solid, long-lasting foundation
✅ Laid 600x600 concrete slabs for a clean, modern finish
✅ Added matching 300x600 slabs to the top of the pond area for a seamless look
✅ Relocated the pond pump into a discreet underground chamber
✅ Finished everything off with stylish pebble borders

✅ All slabs supplied by Rockhard Concrete quality materials at affordable prices 🙏

The result is a durable, low-maintenance outdoor space that looks fantastic and will stand the test of time.

🌳 Don’t Ignore What’s Happening Inside Your Trees! 🐾

We recently removed this tree, and look at the size of that hollow center! The decay was so extensive that our customer’s dog could literally jump inside to check out the logs.

From the outside, this tree didn’t look nearly as compromised as it was on the inside. Large internal cavities like this are often caused by rot or disease and can seriously weaken a tree’s structure — making it a potential hazard to your home, vehicles, pets, and family.

✔️ Cracks or splits
✔️ Mushrooms growing near the base
✔️ Hollow sounds when tapped
✔️ Dead branches in the canopy

These can all be warning signs that your tree needs attention.

✔️ Removed existing turf & flower beds
✔️ Excavated and prepared the ground properly
✔️ Installed heavy-duty membrane
✔️ Laid and compacted Type 1 sub-base
✔️ Finished with 20mm Black Ice shingle for that sharp, modern look

We’ve recently completed the installation of a pair of Knightsbridge heavy duty gates, fitted with solid 8x8 heavy duty posts for maximum strength and durability.

To complete the setup, we also installed a matching single gate along with 10 metres of fencing, creating a secure and seamless finish around the property.

All materials were supplied by Fence Stores Ltd, ensuring top quality from start to finish. 💪

Another job completed by D.J Tree & Garden Services ✅🌳

We recently removed a hedge, fully ground out the stumps using our stump grinder, and installed a brand new 2-metre tall pressure-treated closeboard fence with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards for long-lasting strength and durability.

The conditions were definitely challenging with very wet ground and constant rain 🌧️, but that didn’t stop us from delivering a high-quality finish.

Another very happy customer and a solid fence built to stand the test of time!

Back to this project today to add the finishing touch👌
We returned to a garden we completed just before Christmas to install contemporary fencing along the rear boundary — and it’s really finished the space off perfectly.

The new fencing gives the garden the clean backdrop it deserves and ties the whole project together beautifully. Always great to revisit a job and see it fully come to life.
