A few days away on a well-earned break to Taunton, i was planning on catching up with paperwork, which hasn't gone quite according to plan, but I'm on it today 😆 i have, however, discovered that despite the fact that we are in a large town, we have the worst phone and internet signal ever. i think there are places in the Arctic with better reception. The bonus with it is that I have not done as much work as I had planned. Back to it on Monday and playing catch-up.

Another wet room. Out with an old raised shower re-tile floor wall panels just finishing touches to do. Slight issue of disturbing old pipework in the wall is to discover and old Hep2O 90 in the wall so changed that one ( after it leaked do to being disturbed not bad though after 30 years) finished tomorrow ready for the resident early next week 😊

Been a busy month so far. Repaint of a bedroom. Kitchen strip out and refit. ( Waiting for splashback and tiles) Sanded and oiled the original wood worktop, Patio lifted, edging redone and now starting to relay using original sandstone slabs. All whist doing a wetroom. In the evenings.

Couldn't find a reception desk the size required so we've made on. Shame I was a strip of beading short! Another delivery Friday. ( note. Not the final colour)

Shop renovation and remodel, as well as a couple of little jobs to be getting on with, and, I had one of my beautiful assistants helping today. doorway blocked off, cable and water pipes boxed in and ordering materials for next week.

Little bit of painting today for at the community centre this morning then on to a few finikety little jobs to finish the day.

At the beginning of December, like many people, Christmas lights and a large inflatable gingerbread house went up in front of our home, as well as a small Christmas display.
My wife had the idea of putting a collection pot on the fence, and any donations would be given to the firefighters' charity.
this year, thanks to the donations of passers-by by we raised £96.18.
Thank you for your generosity, and a big thank you to www.firefighterscharity.org.uk for all the work you do helping serving and retired firefighters and their families.
