This year we’re running a small Christmas initiative to support people facing homelessness around Berkshire and London.

We’ll be collecting warm clothing and hand-delivering it directly to individuals who need it most, no middlemen, just real help where it’s needed.

If you have any:
🧥 Coats
🧶 Jumpers & hoodies
🧤 Gloves & scarves
🧢 Hats
🧦 Thick socks / thermals

…we’d love to pass them on.

If you’d like to donate, please drop us a message.
Thank you to anyone who gets involved ❤️

One lawn has just been cut.
The other has been nurtured season after season.

The difference speaks for itself 🌱

We’re now heading into autumn — the best time to start working on your lawn if you want it looking its best next spring. Cooler weather and more rainfall create the perfect conditions for turfing, overseeding, scarifying and feeding.

Whether you’re looking for a complete re-turf or just want to bring tired grass back to life, now’s the time to get started.

📩 Drop us a message today to get booked in before the cold sets in.

🌞 Heatwave Garden Survival Guide 🌿

With temperatures set to soar this week, here’s how to keep your garden fresh, healthy, and thriving:

💧 Smart Watering – Water deeply in the early morning or late evening to avoid evaporation. Focus on roots, not leaves, and use soaker hoses or watering cans to target plants directly. Only water if there’s no hosepipe ban in your postcode – check before you start.

🌱 Mulch Matters – Add a layer of bark, straw, or compost around plants to lock in moisture and keep roots cool. This can cut water loss by up to 25%.

🌸 Shade Protection – Move potted plants into partial shade. Use garden furniture, parasols, or shade cloth to protect sensitive flowers and vegetables from scorching.

🍅 Pick Produce Early – Harvest ripe fruit and veg in the morning before the sun stresses them – they’ll last longer and taste fresher.

✂️ Deadhead & Prune Lightly – Remove spent blooms to encourage new growth, but avoid heavy pruning during extreme heat, as it can stress plants.

👀 Watch for Wilting – If plants droop midday, wait until evening to water – wilting can be a temporary heat response and midday watering may scorch leaves.

A little preparation now means your garden will come through the heat looking lush, not limp. 🌿
