We attended the property to assess an issue with the existing boiler, which was found to be unreliable and no longer operating efficiently. Due to its age and recurring faults, a replacement was recommended as the most cost-effective and long-term solution.
The existing boiler was safely isolated, drained, and removed along with any redundant components. A new, energy-efficient boiler was then installed in accordance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines. All necessary connections, including pipework, controls, and safety devices, were fitted and tested to ensure correct operation.
The system was fully flushed where required, refilled, and commissioned. We carried out thorough testing to confirm the boiler is functioning safely and efficiently. The customer was also shown how to operate the new system and advised on basic maintenance.
All work has been completed to a high standard, leaving the system fully operational and the work area clean and tidy.

Every stage of the renovation was handled by our experienced team and apprentice from initial preparation and plumbing to final fittings and finishing touches. The result is a durable, low-maintenance bathroom that combines practicality with a refined aesthetic.
This project reflects our dedication to delivering reliable, high-standard renovations that enhance both comfort and property value.

Today we refreshed and updated our skills at the Vaillant Training Centre, focusing on the latest practices in air source heat pump installation and commissioning. The session gave us the opportunity to build on our existing knowledge while learning about updated technologies, improved system designs, and current industry standards.
Throughout the training, we revisited key installation techniques, including system layout, pipework configuration, and electrical connections, with an emphasis on achieving maximum efficiency and performance. We also worked through the commissioning process, refining our approach to system setup, control optimisation to ensure reliable operation.
The hands-on experience, combined with expert guidance from the instructors, allowed us to stay up to date with best practices and regulatory requirements. It was a valuable day of learning that has strengthened our confidence and ensured we continue delivering high-quality, efficient heat pump installations.

This enhanced course provides in-depth technical knowledge of current Glow-worm boiler ranges, including installation procedures, commissioning standards, servicing requirements, and fault-finding techniques. The updated content ensures alignment with current Gas Safe regulations, energy efficiency standards, and manufacturer guidelines with great training instructors.

A Kamco CombiMag HEAT filter with a 11,000 gauss magnet, 3kW heater to boost cleaning chemical action and transparent cylinders provide a visible proof of cleanliness.
Also a CP3 pump adapter to connect directly to combination boilers.

This specialist power flushing equipment was added to facilitate a more intensive and thorough cleaning of boilers and central heating systems for customers. The enhanced equipment increases flow velocity and agitation, allowing for more effective removal of accumulated sludge, magnetite, scale, and debris from pipework, radiators, and system components, thereby improving efficiency and reliability.

It's highly recommended having a power flush when your heating system shows signs of "sludge" build-up, radiator cold spots, slow at warming up, Noisy Boiler/Pipes (banging, gurgling or kettling sounds), repeated pump failures all suggest debris is restricting circulation and as a rule of thumb every 5–6 years for systems without a magnetic filter, or every 8–10 years for those that have one.
