I had a job passed on to me from another locksmith.

An elderly couple had lost their keys to their safe, they said to me that they didn't mind how I opened it.

I picked open the safe with no damage, if the keys were found the couple could use the safe again.

I had a call from a lady who was locked out.

I arrived at the property to find a British Standard mortice lock in the door.

After a short while I had picked open the lock, this does no harm to the lock and if there was a key inside the lady could still have used her key.

I had a customer with a composite door and they couldn't open it.

After arrival at the property I had opened the door and found the back of the gearbox had broken out, pictured right.

As I carry these parts on the van this was a easy fix.

A busy morning catching up with some jobs before the big day.

A customer contacted me because they were having issues with their Upvc door lock.

I arrived at the property diagnosed the issue which was the gearbox /center case. If you look at the picture on the right you can clearly see the break out in the back of the gearbox on the left.
The damage was caused by excessive force trying to lock the door, the door had dropped.

I fitted the new gearbox adjusted the door, the lock works smoothly now with no effort.
