Kitchen Installation

An exclusive design by the customer and exquisite kitchen from .
The old kitchen removed was dated from the 70’s, and was given a major upgrade. This included removing an internal wall to open up the space into a kitchen/diner living space.
All wiring, lighting, sockets, ducting and items were pre-planned in order to get the perfect finish in one go.

The kitchen includes fitted fridge freezer, fitted washing machine, and a fitted dishwasher. A wide gas 5 burner hob, and island extractor fan ducted out.
In addition we have an exclusive design of charcoal and white mixed door frontals which have a beautiful matt finish topped with a bespoke white quartz worktop with bronze handles and a bronze tap.
Matt white tiles with charcoal grout.

Finally the LED strip lighting topped the kitchen together with other lighting, herringbone engineered wood flooring and carefully selected paint and decor in the room brilliantly finished the room.

This is my personal favourite part of the house which has had a dramatic upgrade from what it was. It truly is a dream home, with this being the heart of the house.

Partition wall built from floor to ceiling to conceal wall hung toilet frame and pipework. Wall niche built into partition.

All bathroom installed with concrete backer boards.

Full wall tiling throughout bathroom.

Bath panel frame installed. Concrete backer boards installed. Access panel left around bath waste area for future access.
Full tiled.

Full underfloor heating installed.

Loft battens reinforced by doubling up all timbers, adding noggin's and support bracing where required.

Installation of 22mm long length tongue and groove flooring throughout with plenty of screws.

Room squared off with timber structure on 3 sides of semi detached property. Access hatches installed on 3 side.

Installation of all designer radiators throughout the property including all upgrade of old pipework to suit flow rate of new radiators.

Removal of old immersion tank system, including copper tank and all header tanks. Removal of all old lead pipework including the mains water.

Installation of new mdpe pipe for mains water, including digging in garden up to mains stop tap on the pavement.

Removal of old cast iron soil pipe, and clay pipework in the ground. Replacing with new PVC soil stack, with new rubber connections to existing drainage in the ground.

All waste pipes to bathroom and kitchen replaced with new.

1st fix Joinery

Entrance in to the conservatory was modified with a new partition together with a double door casing.

New door casing and partition into kitchen diner.

All new door casings throughout whole property.

Reposition of bathroom door casing, existing partition modified and strengthened while installing new door casing.

All existing partitions in house reinforced where required.

Damaged joist removed and replaced with new joist wrapped in dpc, bolted on to existing joist.

We have now rectified all the works, including all new electrical wiring for sockets, lighting and oven. All new gas connections with gas isolation for gas hob. All units re-adjusted to the correct height and fastened to the wall. All remaining end panels installed. All wall units installed, including modification of some units for pipework. Installation of extractor hood and chimney. Installation of under unit lighting with concealed wiring and accessible boxes for led drivers. Installation of gas hob and electric oven. Installation, assembly and professional mitre joints of all worktops. Installation of quartz sink with quooker tap. Installation of splashback and glass splashback around hob. All done to an outstanding professional finish.

Here is an example of a failed attempt of installing a Wren Kitchen. The guys did a very poor job at attempting to put this kitchen together. Not only did they fail but failed big. They left it in a very a dangerous state, with live wires hanging out, lights not working, all electrical circuits in a mess, with cables that had been drilled through. The worktop bolts not lining up. The legs not correctly positioned. The units not correctly fastened, and not at the correct height. Large cut outs in the units, rather than attempting to neaten up pipework. Everything left in a big mess.

Alot of work was required to rectify all works attempted. We always say to our customers
"The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
