At DC Design we make it our mission to ensure you get the space of your dreams.

With this client we took their original idea of creating a 2 storey extension to replace their box bedroom with a larger new bedroom in the extension and moving the bathroom.

We looked at the layout and devised an option to leave the box room as a bedroom, keep the bathroom as existing and by making one bedroom smaller have the bedroom in the extension as a new 4th bedroom.

We then provided different roof pitch options for the single storey part of the extension to allow the client to see which massing option they preferred for the external facade appearance.

🏡 A few visuals of our latest work. The client got in contact requiring some visualisations to communicate their existing extension plans to aid with obtaining planning permission. Through 3D modelling the plans some design issues were also flushed out and has provided a clarity of the design intent to the client 🏡

See our most recent project for a very happy client who’s design provides them with the additional space for an office, utility and a large kitchen diner on the ground floor and with an additional bedroom and en-suite on the first floor. A client asked for a review of a design carried out by another designer. When we converted the design to a 3D model various issues with the initial design were identified. Through collaboration with the client we got to a final design that they were thrilled with.
