Sponge Tree Nature Kindergarten is a fully outdoor woodland based provision, based in Baildon Shipley.
Providing the forest school pedagogy to children ages 3 to 5 years old and open Thursday & Friday term times 8.30am til 12pm.

Crazy heavy rain showers stopped play at Esholt today but we managed a spot of weeding, planting & chopping. Also photo taking in-between the downpours.

Back in early 2022 when me, Chris & Pippa were grappling with the over grown and neglected kitchen garden space at Esholt. We were employed then 3 days a week to bring this space back to life. We wrestled with masses of brambles, lugged & barrowed soil and came up with plans. Bit by bit we beavered away. It was hard work and some volunteers were asked to join in April of that year, as we realised, we needed more hands to help.
