Boiler repair this morning for an old friend of mine Stephen Harrison. He contacted me last night with a faulty boiler which had explosive ignition 💥 leading too a complete lockout and failure of the electrodes meaning no heating or hot water. Back up and running in no time. Heating and hot water working again and a happy customer.

Boiler swap today🛠
This alpha had a major split in the heat exchanger, swapped out with a Baxi 424 combi.
Customer now has peace of mind with 5 year warranty and the house is nice and warm🔥

Couple of boiler installs from this week 🛠🥶
Been a busy week for breakdowns and servicing too.

Old vokera out which had split heat exchanger, replaced with a Baxi 630 with 7 year warranty.

New vaillant 940 installed with additional hot water storage tank capable of supplying multiple hot water outlets.

Can't stress enough the importance of having your gas appliances checked, serviced and maintained on a regular basis! This boiler had been installed several years ago and never checked.

The flue wasn't connected properly and wasn't sealed on the inside or out leaving the risk of products of combustion (co)entering the property and potentially causing serious harm or worse to the homeowners.

Boiler was also leaking causing pressure issues, which was quickly pin pointed and fixed by GPM Gas Services
