Hi Folks,

Here is an original Michael Rath R9 Trombone Bell. It was repaired and re-lacquered for a customer, however, it is now surplus to need. It is for sale at a price of £500. Dear friends and customers. We are pleased to announce some good news - Rob's latest scan showed no indication of any further cancer growth, and that the disease is "stable" for now. He is no longer under any treatment, but is still recovering from the after effects. As such, we are intending to reopen again, soon, albeit on a more limited basis, and with a one-in-one-out instrument policy. We also have a new member of staff - Emma Few, who will be helping to run the business.

Unfortunately, Artisan Brass is now closed until further notice. Rob, the proprietor and technician has recently had a brain cancer diagnosis, and so will obviously be putting all his efforts into dealing with that and spending more time with family. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Artisan Brass will remain closed for business during June 2020. Rob and Emma have their children at home and are engaged in home-schooling. The limited time we have available in the workshop we are using to work through the backlog of work we had in before the lock-down began. We will reassess the public health situation at the end of the month, so if you do require a service or repair at that time, then please do get in touch towards the end of the month.

As such, Artisan Brass does not retain or process any of your personal data or information other than contact details such as your name, phone number and email address. These are stored on a secured and encrypted PC file system and are only accessed for the purpose of contacting customers regarding work they have requested. Artisan Brass will never share or sell your data or information to any outside agencies or organisations. You have a right to request to be forgotten, as such, you only need to ask and Artisan Brass will securely delete your contact information.

Feeling proud and privileged to be elected to the management committee of the National Association of Musical Instrument Repairers (NAMIR) at the Annual General Meeting on Monday. Looking forward to contributing to the steering and oversight of this wonderful organisation and support network!

This Bach Stradivarius Cornet previously had various dents and very worn lacquer. This is it after repairs and relacquering work (credit to Osprey Metal Finishers for Lacquering)
