Grove Designs was launched in 2004 when my first client, a friend of a friend, entrusted me to make several Roman Blinds and a pair of hand made French pleated dress curtains. Working on our dining room table and often late into the night the order was complete and fitted in time for Christmas! Since those early days things have progressed, I have a dedicated work room and my client base has grown

through word of mouth, but I have not lost the personal touch. I visit each client with my ever expanding collection of fabric books, a bag full of samples and my trusty notepad, pencil and tape measure! Following sometimes lengthy discussions a design solution for one or several windows is met and a no obligation quote drawn up. I personally make each item from start to finish and although my main area of work is curtains and blinds I will turn my hand to most areas of soft furnishing including scatter cushions and box cushions. My service is simple to provide you with the most beautiful handmade curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.

Hello August from the garden here at GDHQ! Itā€™s amazing how resilient some of these plants are to the heatwaves and drought conditions. The Russian Sage and lavender are particularly happy! Even the wisteria is having a second flourish! I love having this to look out on whilst I work. And I have been working I just havenā€™t got around to posting anything for a while. But Iā€™m still here and still making beautiful curtains and blinds.
