Well let's forget about the weather in January and February... if you see a big yellow thing in the sky let me know ☀️☀️

We are in the process of contacting existing customers to arrange first cuts but it will most likely be a couple weeks before a lot of lawns have dried out enough. We are pleased to be able to offer scarifying again this year.

Ian is on his own this year as baby Jones is due beginning of April time 👶 and I am currently the size of a whale 🐋 days and times of cuts are therefore likely to be different from last year to ensure everyone is booked in however Ian will try his best to make sure all needs are met 🙏.

Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas - and belly's are now full with turkey and mince pies 😍

The weather is forecast to drop this week so please make sure tender perennials are protected or moved inside if you've not already done so!

A few jobs I've done in preparation;

- Wrap and protect the crown of tree ferns (Dicksonia Antarctica)
- Mulch the base of Alstroemeria planted this year to protect roots
- Canna Lily moved into the greenhouse
- Potted Acers moved under cover
- Pond pump and air stones checked so the pond doesn't freeze over
- Citrus moved in doors
- Begonia and Fuchsias moved into the greenhouse

With any luck the temperature won't drop too much but its worth a walk round the garden now to make sure nothings been left outside 🤞

Safe to say we've had a fantastic 2 weeks away in the sunshine cruising ☀️ thanks to Ian (dad) for keeping things running whilst I've been away! Lots of conifer cutting and winter garden preparation to look forward to now 😁 💪

Well we've both worked hard but had a lovely day today working together! Started the day shifting 6t of topsoil up the steps, round the bend and down the garden path to fill in a pond 😅 and finished the day with a garden clearance few patios to clean and large thistle clearance 😬 found an elephant hawk moth caterpillar too 😀

Excellent quality topsoil from 👌
