Friday afternoon saw the start of another flooring project for a fantastic local charitable organisation in Brecon.

After carrying out the site assessment and providing a quotation, we began by preparing the subfloor with the correct primer to ensure a strong bond and long-lasting finish. We then applied ProFlow Trade kerakoll to create a smooth, level surface ready for the final floor installation.

Preparation is key to achieving a quality finish, and taking the time to get the subfloor right ensures the best possible result.

Good morning all!!

It has recently come to our attention that we have been mentioned in Facebook posts regarding political matters and the previous occupants of the premises that we now occupy.

The Flooring Co. is an independent business that has no affiliation with any political party, the previous occupants and Youngs of Brecon Ltd, whatsoever.

We have also been made aware of rumours going around that we will be honouring all warranties with Youngs of Brecon Ltd.
As we are a new business with no ties to the previous tenants, unfortunately this is not the case for anyone who has had any work done by Youngs of Brecon Ltd.

What a difference a fresh coat of paint and new signage can make.

A huge thank you to Nathan CM Nest Services for this incredible transformation, we couldn’t be happier with the result. If you’re looking for painting services, we highly recommend them.

Also, a big shoutout to Pro-Grafix for the fantastic new signs. The difference is night and day, and with such a quick turnaround, we’ll definitely be using them again.

🎉✨ THE NEWS IS OUT — THE FLOORING CO IS OPENING IN BRECON TOWN! ✨🎉

The wait is nearly over…
We’re excited to officially open our doors on **Saturday 13th June**, and we’d love for you to join us for our opening Day Celebration!

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be busy renovating and getting everything ready as we take over the premises formerly known as “Youngs of Brecon” and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors very soon.

Rough and worn out sub floors? No problem!

First of we filled in any cracks and crevices before applying a suitable primer, once the primer had set we got to work with applying 7 bags of Ardex CL smoothing compound to give us the perfect surface ready for the new flooring to go down.
