What are Permitted Development Rights?
Thinking about extending your home or adding a garden room? You might not need full planning permission…
Permitted Development Rights (PDR) allow certain building works to be carried out without applying for planning permission, therefore saving you time, money, and hassle.
This can include:
• Home extensions
• Loft conversions
• Garden buildings
• Window & door changes
But it’s not a free-for-all…
There are strict limits and conditions, and not every property qualifies (especially in conservation areas or for listed buildings).
