Window and Door Contract Services Ltd specialise in the maintenance of commercial windows and doors.
STANDARD SERVICES
Operating throughout the United Kingdom, offering the services set out below. We undertake work in schools, shop premises, public buildings, hotels etc.
ALUMINIUM WINDOWS
Manufactured in either white or natural finish. We service and/or replace defective parts e.g. rubber gaskets, balance springs, guides, stops etc.
STANDARD/PURPOSE MADE WINDOWS AND DOORS
In UPVC, hard wood, aluminium or steel. We attend to draught proofing and de-rusting as necessary. We also attend to repairing and replacing fittings e.g. handles, casement stays, hinges, brackets, rests, pins and backing panels to doors.
REPLACEMENT OF ROTTEN WOOD SURROUNDS AND SILLS
To existing windows and doors. We also supply wood surrounds with or without cills for new metal and aluminium windows and doors.
GLAZING
Carried out by our glazing section e.g. patent glazing, leaded lights, secondary glazing, laminated and toughened in a wide variety of patterns and thickness.
ANTI BURGLAR LOCKS AND STANDARD LOCKS
E.g. Chubb and Banham suitable for windows and doors.
GARAGE DOORS
E.g. Henderson, Merlin and Garador standard and purpose made. Handles, locks, rollers, springs readily available for fitting and service.
LOUVER WINDOWS
Including in pole or gear operated systems. Replacement of blades holders, guides etc.
WINDOW GEAR
E.g. Arena, Teleflex Newmans. Servicing /replacing mini and maxi operator’s conduit and chain operating units.
FLOOR SPRINGS
E.g. Newman and Tonks, Gibbons, Meteor. Servicing of springs by removing the door and spring, completely cleaning out and repairing, refilling with new oil and refixing spring and door.
DOOR CLOSERS
E.g. Dorma and Briton heavy duty and normal stand open, concealed and slimline. Also servicing and replacing screws, plates and lubricating.
ROOF LIGHTS
We service and replace flat, domed or pyramid, none ventilating and ventilating, hinged or permanent. The replacement of Georgian Wire Cast roof lights is also carried out.
We run a fleet of maintenance vehicles, which enables us to offer on-the-spot or next day service throughout the country.
