We absolutely loved fitting this dark and moody kitchen in North London. The black lick of paint makes the copper sink really stand out, while the contrasting neutral wall cabinets mean the room remains bright.

That copper glow is pretty special, right?

This solid oak table has hidden drawers, providing storage for anything you might need in easy reach of your dining room.

This is a beautiful example of a piece of freestanding furniture that we so love crafting. What do you think?

This lovely room is the pantry to a gorgeous kitchen we fitted in Bath.

Everything in this pantry is handcrafted and bespoke to fit the unusually shaped room.

It features some beautiful tongue and groove panelling, finished with a lick of .

Dark cabinetry is a gorgeous choice; we love this dark blue hue with the black Aga. This client opted for a white wall unit which creates a beautiful contrast, drawing the eyes up.

The wonderful white cabinet not only provides excellent storage, but also brightens the room 🌟

The most recent Norton Woodwork project: an extension to a kitchen completed recently in Dorchester.

Oak boards wrap around 3 walls to envelop the new kitchen.

Hidden doors reveal new cabinets that house a tea/coffee/toaster cupboard, a tech/wifi cupboard with space for cookery books, a bottles cupboard, a cupboard for glasses and of course, a wine cupboard. All clad in the highest quality european oak with walnut detailing. Cupboards painted in Farrow & Ball's Charlotte's Locks.

A very special dining table that combines the old with the new: a thoroughly modern design that is built to last using proper time-tested joinery techniques.

Heavy and immensely strong- this table resists knocks and does not shake (handy if some guests have had a skin-full).

Made from European oak.

This beautiful kitchen is a blend of modern and traditional. Graceful curves soften the edges of cabinets. Bespoke doors hide from view the integrated appliances we all need but don't want to see, while beaded frames add just the right amount of detail. The result is a very modern and functional living space with a traditional aesthetic. Hand crafted in my Dorset Workshop to exacting standards and fitted with care.

The latest project at Norton Woodwork is now finished and my Dorchester clients are delighted with the result.

This kitchen & larder are made from solid maple. The clean lines, blond wood and open storage have a distinctly modern and Scandinavian feel.

There were no composite materials used; all you can see, and all you can't, was made from solid maple. Everything was handcrafted and bespoke. The drawers have hand-cut dovetails, solid wood bases, and run smoothly on bees-waxed wooden runners. Each drawer is finished with a pull made from steamed pearwood. The butchers block is also hand made and provides a huge surface to prepare food on that does away with the need for chopping boards.

A bespoke kitchen of the highest quality and an absolute delight to make.

Stainless steel worktop by AEG Anderson. Oven & induction hob by Gaggenau. Extractor by Miele.
