The first day of Summer but not sure what has happened to that glorious weather 🌞?? Monday again 😕..but wait…it’s a Bank Holiday so a day of rest for a Sarah’s Oddjob Services. Still plenty to do through..lots of admin before back to work tomorrow.
April finished with the start of a rental property refurb..plenty of preparation on a this job, damaged walls to repair and original wooden windows to bring back to life. Luckily I enjoy a challenge, and a chance to test out new products and materials that are on the market.
A busy month ahead, but I do still have some availability this coming summer in my diary. Send me a message for a free quote 🎨.

So difficult to get the colour match right on this April project for Sarah’s Oddjob Services.. Maybe I should have used a smaller brush 🤔? Enjoyed a week at home getting to know these new additions, but it’s back out on the road and back to work. Work completed this month so far included the start of some outdoor work, when the weather allowed, little kitchen/diner refresh and some furniture flipping. Lots of variety and as always, new products and techniques to take on board. Space available on my diary for summer bookings..get in touch 🤗!

Spring is almost here..and while Sarah’s Oddjob Services has managed to enjoy a glass of well deserved wine amongst the daffodils after work, it’s time to get back on the brushes.. Another busy month done - kitchen/diner spring update, sitting room freshen up,bedroom repaint and even a cinema room refurb. Time to start thinking about those external jobs. Still too early (too cold and wet) but good to plan ahead for the summer months. Availability in my diary from June onwards, just get in touch 🖌️!

A busy February at Sarah’s Oddjob Services. I love working in old houses but they can be a challenge..damp, uneven and damaged surfaces, many layers of paint and several layers of vintage wallpaper 😕. But this all makes the transformation even more impressive….. Taking bookings from Summer onwards..please get in touch for your decorating requirements!

Pleased to be indoors this last week ☔️, a freshen up of my local Village Hall. Plenty of prep, lots of ladders in various configurations but all clean and tidy and ready for another year of bookings. All completed in scrubbable, washable and durable finishes. On to the next job! I still have availability in my diary for Spring…

Wallpaper sample day 🙌. Gorgeous samples..so difficult to choose??? Any of these will look stunning, either a full room or just a feature wall for a dramatic look. Wallpaper is definitely making a comeback and Iam looking forward to seeing how the customers choice of design will look.

Using designer paint this week on a bespoke bathroom. Both modern water based formulas, Edward Bulmer is specifically designed to be used in properties where paint fumes and/or smells may be a problem. I use a wide range of products, and always like to try new innovations that come into the market. My diary is filling up fast but there’s plenty of available space into the Spring and Summer 👍🏻!
