Fitting a fence that's been sandwiched over the years with decking, walls, staircases and electric cables leaving a 70mm gap was always going to be a challenge.
Nobody was willing to take it on but I always rise to the challege.
A bit of swearing and crafty techniques saw the fence back where it started it's life.

Another rip out of a deck that's not been installed properly!!
I see this time and time again. You do not lay decking following the level of the house unless you absolutely have to. The water has nowhere to run and you can't put a fall on it.
I always run mine away from the property with a slight fall to allow water run off. This extends it's life massively and reduces it becoming stagnant and slippery.
And never put facias on as this traps water from escaping and causes premature rot.

Not my typical job as I don't normally endorse composite decking but they'd been ripped off previously and we're desperate .We ripped the old decking out and replaced all rotten joicings for new. Re secured the dodgy sleepers and gave them a fresh new look👌
