A few photos of a rear extension project reviewed yesterday.
My client asked to integrate an existing closed off extension, previously used as a flat, with the main house by removing an internal wall and bathroom to increase the dining area and provide a family lounge connecting to the garden.
Work included adding a skylight, French doors, a window, while replacing Velux windows and increasing the thermal integrity with a new warm flat roof and tanking to prevent damp pe*******on.
The main contractor provided outstanding customer care and work on site.
The planning consultant provided exceptional planning advise and worked diligently with council.
My client forwarded the following;
"Matt Goodchild provided creative and painstaking input to a design and regulatory process involving a conversion and extension project in our house. The process took about seven months of toing and froing with the Council before work could begin, but thanks to Matt, the actual building process ran smoothly as regards the regulatory side (and the builder was great, too). We are very pleased with the outcome, and grateful to Matt for ever-friendly and ever-helpful contributions."
