When was the last time you checked your smoke detector?
No I am not talking about pushing the button and seeing if it bleeps.
No I am not talking about testing the battery.
I am talking about checking the sticker on the side of your smoke/heat/carbon detectors. I go to so many clients whose detectors are out of date, by years. Yes that’s right smoke detectors have a shelf life.
The government tell you about testing, they never tell you about checking the replacement date.
10years is the usual life span of a smoke detector.
