We’ve been busy at work all through the winter, working in the snow, rain and occasionally some sun shine. Which included plenty of happy customers, tree sourcing, mountains of soil and even a new van.

Tom and I are making it our goal to post more and share what we are doing so as always your support helps us massively!

Very rewarding and fun project for some lovely customers in Saltdean needing a refresh of their lawn and surrounding planting as it had next to no sun from October through to March so a change up from wobbly patio and grass to a large area of planted stone was a great move to make. A mixture of Mediterranean and native feel planting that works super well for pollinators and relatively low maintenance within the stone surrounding. It allows for far more practical area to entertain guest and just chilling out with the chiminea!

A lovely project and once again a great one to see how it develops and matures, with the renewed climbing rose and the surrounding plants given more space and food to grow and thrive. To see how the pond life gets used to its new surroundings and still enjoys all the nooks and crannies to live in. A fun one to keep an eye on! 👀🌳

A delightful project in Ovingdean last year for a prairie garden feel with lots of texture and colour and all happy to be living on free draining chalk getting battered by the wind. The prompt was to get the green house to feel as though it was engulfed in the greenery and as the Mollinia and the Calamagrostis grow it will really begin to feel like that with gorgeous floral interest around it. Lovely winter colour being brought in by the Hamemelis Red Witch Hazel as well to entice the customer into the green house even on bitter winter days to see what’s been growing!!

Really fun project last year and with more to come from this one so keep an eye out for what’s to come and how this garden settles in! 🌳🌳🌳

We work with you, the customer, to put together a full plan of how you’d like to use our services, from designing new aspects of the garden to a full redesign, from a spring tidy up to a regular checkup and maintenance for the garden to stay pristine throughout the year.

We work in and around the Brighton and Hove area but have done a number of jobs further afield in East and West Sussex and into Surrey and London. We use our many years of horticultural work to give you a tailored experience that works for your requirements, desire and budget.

We will work through a submission form filled out on our website or a direct message to our phones, email or Instagram and get back to you as soon as possible to set up a site visit to talk through a succinct plan and provide you with an accurate quote. Once all agreed we’ll put you in the calendar for where it fits both parties best and it’s as simple as that! Give us a message today and see how we can help!

We can then install your garden using good quality grown plants from local nurseries efficiently and skilfully to ensure your garden has the best start possible in its renewed state.

Green Boys Gardens are then able to help maintain the newly planted or any part of your garden from clipping topiary to renewing beds and reviving those tired plant specimens

Green Boys Gardens, is purely the name, we are a fully inclusive company with a passion for helping anyone and everyone with all horticultural endeavours.

Green Boys Gardens is made up of Tom and Zac, two experienced and enthusiastic horticulturalists. They both have many years of experience working in various aspects of the gardening and horticultural world and use this to produce quality work for their customers.

Forever repping the Green Boys badge even when we’re away on a friends camping trip in this gorgeous summer weather ☔️

Very much back in office and a reminder that Autumn is a great time to get the garden looking tidy for the winter season and still a perfect opportunity to get some design work sorted for the garden so that everything can flourish as soon as Spring hits!

We spent last week in France for our holidays and were able to convince the group to take a look around a couple of inspirational gardens, Jardins d’Etretat and Monet’s Garden. It’s really amazing what can be done with the different styles of design - Jardins d’Etretat especially was impressive with a lack of floral diversity but just using the Azaelea, Rhododendron and Agapanthus and the rest of the impact coming from the highly clipped and trained evergreen hedign plants and climbers. Very impresssive and great to see.
