Back in December we moved house, a place with a lovely garden but unfortunately the previous owners had left it unattended to for two and a half years!!
- My first job was to clear up the apples that our beautiful orchard tree had blessed us with, unfortunately these were rotting :( The only positive side was that the weather was cold enough to enable me to easily sweep and fetch them and then place in to my temporary compost bins.
- it was a long road to recovery for the grass due to the cold winter and being covered by rotting apples from the summer before, I didn’t use any fertilisers or grass seed! Just raked the dead grass (thatch) then made some small holes around to aerate the soil.
- The first two pictures are taken in December and the 3rd and 4th are from March :) how did I do!? Let me know in the comments ✌️
