📸 BEFORE & AFTER: Headlight Restoration Service

​Take a look at this massive transformation on a 2014 vehicle lens!!

​When the clear coat on modern headlights degrades, they don't just look tired—the heavy oxidation, yellowing, and pitting severely blocks night-time visibility and can easily cause an MOT failure.

​These lenses had been left completely sun-baked, rough, and deeply pitted by previous neglect. Instead of replacing the units at a cost of hundreds of pounds, I rescued them using a proper, thorough multi-stage restoration process:

​The Heavy-Duty Dry Prep: The absolute key to shifting that hard, flaky top crust. I used specialized dry scouring pads to chew straight through the heavy oxidation and level out the deep pitting down to a flat, uniform layer of fresh plastic.

​Precision Wet Sanding: Refining the surface by stepping through the grits all the way down to a microscopic 10,000 grit finish to clear any fine scratches.

​Machine Polishing & Buffing: Running specialized compounds on a wavy foam pad to lift the haze and clarify the polycarbonate.

​Final Jeweling Pass: Finishing with a flat pad and a dry, fluffy buffer to burnish the plastic to a flawless, showroom mirror shine.

​A couple of quick and tidy outdoor jobs completed today to help a client get their garden looking great and working perfectly for the summer.

​1️⃣ Retractable Washing Line Installation
​First up, a neat retractable washing line mounted securely into the brickwork. Perfect for making the most of the breezy days without having permanent lines cluttering up the patio space. Kept it clear of the window and tucked away nicely near the drainage layout.

​2️⃣ Upcycled Garden Feature 🌿
​Next was something a bit more creative! Installed this rustic wooden ladder onto the garden fence using secure, heavy-duty brackets. It’s perfectly leveled up and ready to act as a custom trellis. The game plan here is for a beautiful climbing Wisteria to train its way through the rungs. It's going to look absolutely stunning when it establishes and flowers!
