Sometimes we are pruning a magnolia in a domestic garden. Sometimes we are deadwooding 100 foot veteran sweet chestnuts over composting toilets in the forest.

This collection of pictures unfortunately documents the demise of a cypress tree.

Unfortunately these conifers have growm to big for the space and are causing issues not only with the roof and listed building but also with the power lines on the other side.
As they are so big we cant reduce them enough to make a difference with killing them off so removal is all thats left.

We employed various rigging techniques to ensure nothing touched the house or lines or road.
This is a job that needs doing in stages as they are so close to the house there is a concern that subsidence could compromise the building if we did the deed all at once.

The lads did a great job and no infrastructure or people were harmed in the felling of this tree.

Nice view from the office last week. Also spotted some rare grey owls on the roof of the property we worked on.

A while back we were drafted in to assist our colleague at Gnarly Trees Bristol. Re pollarding two splendid old limes.
Lots of aerial posing and general hilarity on this one.

The end result of a 1.5 metre crown reduction on these two beauties.
These Beeches are protected by the council so naturally we, the absolute tree legends were drafted in to meticulously tend these whoppers.
